Up to 15% of all Americans are lactose intolerant, while the figure rises to 80% in African Americans, 80% in Native Americans, and 90% in Asian Americans. Premature babies may also be lactose intolerant, as lactase does not increase to two full levels until the last trimester of pregnancy.
African-Americans do not produce lactase, the enzyme necessary to digest lactose, the sugar in all milk products.
Milk wins first place as the most mucus – forming of all foods. Drinking a cup of milk is like drinking a cup of mucus. Cheese has this quality 100 – fold, being concentrated milk. It takes about 4-5 quarts of milk to make a pound of cheese. People that drink milk and eat dairy products are always full of snot, coughs, colds, congestion. This is why babies fed mostly on cow’s milk have constantly runny noses. CASEIN, the dominant protein in milk is the main cause of mucus. Casein causes histamines in your body which creates mucus, congestion. If you must have your cheese, cut up a small amount in a big salad. This will counteract some of its clogging effects. And commercial ice cream is totally unfit and unsafe for consumption. Whether pasteurized or raw, dairy products from cow’s milk are the most mucus forming of all foods. This includes milk, cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese, yogurt, ice cream, skim milk, whey, butter, kefir and ghee. Robert Gray observed.
Glue and casein.
80% of protein in milk is casein, a tenacious glue. Casein is from cow’s milk which makes one of the strongest water – resistant glues. It holds together the wood in your furniture. It will glue you too! The main ingredient in Elmer’s glue is casein. Casein is also found in some artificial “cheeses” and health stores.
You too can make Elmer’s glue on your own, here’s how:
1 quart skim milk
3/4 Tbsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
10 oz. water
Place milk and vinegar in a double boiler. Cook on low heat and stir as curds form. Drain off liquid. Wash remaining mass with water until the vinegar smell is gone. Put in a clean bowl. Dissolve baking soda in water. Pour over curds and stir until a white paste forms. Place in re sealable containers
Dairy products are the top causes of heart attacks
In fact, many studies have shown that dairy products are the top causes of heart attacks, strokes and atherosclerosis. Worse than pasteurized milk is homogenized milk. Wherein all the fat is in microscopic pieces evenly distributed. This is a lethal heart hazard. In examining the death rate of atherosclerosis (clogging the arteries) in 13 nations, Dr. Kurt Oster found it is correlated directly to the drinking of heart homogenized milk in that nation. Finland, a country with one of the highest rates of dairy consumption, also has the world highest death rate from heart disease. A 10 year study proved a primary contributor to all health disorders. Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans. 40% of America’s diet is dairy according to the USDA. These two facts are directly related.
Asthma is three times higher in African-Americans than in Caucasians. Asthma and heart attacks are both directly linked to dairy consumption. So if 80% of all milk protein contain casein, the most allergenic substance found in our foods; has the property of glue. Creates histamines in the body which create mucus which fill the lungs, making breathing difficult, if not impossible. In asthma, the muscular spasms, together with increased mucus, are bought on by histamines produced by the body’s immune system during an allergic response. A major part of that meal program is casein – containing milk and dairy. So let’s talk a little bit more about milk
The most powerful growth hormone in the human body is identical to the growth hormone in cows. It’s called IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor). Whenever you consume milk/cheese, you are ingesting this hormone, found in commercial cow’s milk. The same hormone in milk is the key factor in every human cancer as noted by Robert Cohen in “MILK The Deadly Poison”, his exposé books on milk and the dairy industry. In fact, studies link this hormone with a seven – fold increase in risk of breast cancer and 4 – fold risk of prostate cancer. Both are major killers of men and women in America and other industrialized countries.
Lastly, let’s talk about pasteurized milk also called commercial milk
Pasteurized milk is a poor source of calcium. Since it’s cooked (pasteurized), its calcium is mostly inorganic; hence unusable also, its minerals and calcium enzymes are destroyed. Furthermore, in order to exhort calcium, the body needs comparable amounts of another mineral, magnesium. Without magnesium, the body only exhorts 25% of dairy calcium. The remainder of calcium causes or contributes to kidney stones, arthritis, atherosclerosis (by building plaque on the artery walls), and osteoporosis. In fact, 25 million American women over age 40 have bone – crippling arthritis and osteoporosis these women have been drinking about 2 pounds of milk per day for their entire adult lives. Osteoporosis results in calcium loss, not from a lack of calcium intake. A large amount of protein in milk results in a 50% loss of calcium in the urine. Plant calcium (from leafy green and vegetables) is far better absorbed than milk calcium.
I personally have stopped drinking milk for over 15 years. I use to have mucus, congestion, acne, lethargic, mucus, bloated, you name it. I have now been eliminated from all those concerns. In my opinion the main reason I felt that way was because of cows milk.
